Review on πŸ’‡ Revlon 360 Surround Hair Dryer and Styler with Salon Quality by Jenny Maestas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

First prototype of what is likely to be a very successful concept

I have long, layered hair and despite literally decades of practice I still manage to straighten it terribly with a round brush. I bought this dryer hoping it would make this task easier, and it really is, with some caveats. She is very heavy. Painfully heavy. Fortunately, since this item can be held with one hand indefinitely, the overall drying time is greatly reduced. That's the mystery of depth perception when you actually put your hair in the dryer while looking in the mirror. The blow dryer is designed to blow the hair down, so it's important to keep this in mind when positioning the blow dryer around a strand of hair. I'm sure it gets a lot easier with practice, but the first few times I looked like an idiot in the mirror waving this hair dryer around. Successfully smooths out my layers. It doesn't (as expected) dry the roots well in "section mode" so I just turn my head and dry the roots in "traditional" mode before I start straightening the length. I feel like it's a successful idea and we're seeing the first experimental prototypes - they'll no doubt make it lighter and more powerful - but it's still a solid product that I plan to keep using.
