Ideal for use with Mac Book Pro. I can position the stand so that the monitor/screen is at eye level. It feels solid and once I set it to the right angle it doesn't slide down. While it still works with a fat old laptop, it's great for thinner laptops. The space under the stand can be used to store the wireless keyboard when not in use. The two pieces of metal sticking out in front of the laptop to hold it in place don't constrain my wrist, unlike other portable Sands I've had. First thing I noticed was that it vibrated when I was typing, but I don't notice it anymore.
