(Using wife's account) I purchased these shorts, they are great for the price and look nice. However, I am a male, 6' tall, 200 lbs, and my waist is between a 34-36 (34 is a little tight, 36 is a little big). I purchased the 2XL after looking at the size chart and reading someone else's review. While the shorts fit fine, they are a bit big in the sense that if I do not tie them, they will fall off, even with the elastic waist. I ordered another pair, but this time I ordered a L, as I suspect those will be perfect. Once I get them, I'll write another review.
