DO NOT USE THESE FOR BACKUPS - THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE! These flash drives are of very poor quality and have a HIGH DEFECT RATE. I bought two sets of 5. Two failed in the first 6 months after little use. After another month of light use, two more failed. The seller only offers 1 replacement. If multiple drives fail, you're out of luck getting a replacement after the first one. These drives are also difficult to format. I used them to record TV shows on my TV tuner and due to the large size of the HD broadcast files I had to format them for the NTFS file system. It turned out to be very difficult to format them in NTFS format. I usually had to try half a dozen or more different formatting programs before I could get a successful format. And even then, I often had to format them to FAT32 first before the successful NTFS format could be achieved. Even if they were reliable drives, they wouldn't be worth the degradation caused by formatting. From now on I'll stick with branded sticks.
