I bought this for a Dell XPS 13. And am I glad I did. I tend to check emails and news when I'm eating breakfast. My phone rang and I mindlessly reached over to grab it - dumped a mug of tea on laptop. I turned it off, turned it upside down, removed the keyboard cover and left it for a few days with my fingers crossed. No damage to my laptop. I'm convinced the keyboard cover kept most of the tea from flooding everything. It also keeps crumbs out. This cover is thin and form-fitting so as you type, you forget it's there.
