This review refers to the Radix One Slim Wallet. This is a plastic wallet with a silicone strap. I will be returning Radix as it can't compete with Roco's thin wallet. I've had a competitor's product for years and the silicone is starting to wear out. This is a slim wallet from Roco but unfortunately they have changed their original design which looks more like a base. The differences to the current numbering system and the old Roko are as follows: 1. Material. Roko aluminum, so very stiff, the base is plastic. Sturdy plastic but bends when tried. This shouldn't be a big deal, but metal is much more durable and protects plastic cards from warping or tearing like a traditional fabric or leather wallet. Not sure about longevity of roots longevity. Roco has worn off some paint over the years, but no damage, kinks, cracks or anything else. Extremely durable and I wish I could just get a replacement band for it. The material also influences the "stickiness" of the cards. With a metal case, the cards seem to slide on it much more easily and don't stick to the wallet, making it easier to access your cards. 2. Side cutout. The cut-out at the base is shallower which means it doesn't cut as hard. When trying to remove cards it gives your fingers a lot less strength and makes it harder to get your cards than the Roko. Both pushing from one side and pulling from the other is more difficult with the base as a whole.3. Group. The base has a protrusion on one side, presumably to allow your finger to grab it and pull it up more easily so you can slip money between the band and the wallet. If I ever put cash in it I'd put it under the wallet anyway and not between it and the band, maybe it was easier to access with a larger neckline, but the loose bills make it more visible and they're easier to snag on things though it is ripped out of the pocket. In addition, the base band is not a band of uniform thickness, but is nearly rectangular in shape with "edges" shaped to fit around the handbag in a specific location. If you stack more than 4 or so cards it will get thicker than the strip so the corners will be out of place anyway and create a point of tension. With a one-size-fits-all harness, like a Roco, you can keep turning the harness to keep it from tiring in a particular spot. The Radix is a good wallet, but I found the original roco to be much better in design. Unfortunately they changed their design and I'll have to see how the new Roco compares.
