Put a boot on my 2 year old shoes. old and wore them outside the door for 3-4 hours, and the white sole was dirty and dirty gray. The rest of the shoe also looked muddy from light use. Didn't try to clean up as he was supposed to be wearing them to the Christmas party just hope they do. He has other sneakers with white soles which he beats quite well and these are not Chinese branded shoes, after a few months after 3-4 hours of wear they look better than these shoes. Not impressed and actually disappointed considering they are from Carter. Buy at your own risk unless you mind your child's shoes looking dirty. That has been said. The shoes fit well and the workmanship is ok for the price.
