This HDTV antenna easily mounts on the back of your TV for a cable/antenna connection as if it were a cable TV connection. Then connect the antenna to a USB power adapter (not included). I suggest that you first scan your TV with your TV remote to find local channels that can be received by your HDTV antenna. Finally, after all local stations have been added, find the perfect spot for the antenna on a wall or window to get the best reception. The best thing about this antenna is the ability to install it in and next to your TV for great reception. This is the third HDTV antenna I have purchased for each of my home TVs. Both of my TVs are UHD 4K TVs (LG and Vizio) and they even get lots and lots of cable channels in HD clarity. I mostly watch streaming TV, but these antennas allow me to watch online sports, local weather, and news for free.
