I got the m.2 for Christmas but couldn't get my Ryzen 5 computer for two months. I used this to transpose the DVR on my old Windows 7 computer. Obviously it wouldn't boot, but by following the online instructions to install Windows drivers it was able to support gaming and live video. M.2. It is now in a new box but for temporary use it was downloaded this way. Just don't expect old hardware to boot from it. The old PCI v2 ran at around 500MB/s on my m.2, while the native ran at around 3000MB/s. Still twice as fast as the SATA SSD in the old box.
