My little rat loves it, it's not too big

My little rat is too big for a 6 1/2" balance bike, her back leg kept falling off. I got this and at first I thought, oh my god what a monster too big for him but luckily it isn't this wheel isn't just for big rodents the old 6 1/2 wheel had his poo sticking to the wheel so the poor guy ran after one For a while rolling around on his own shift Poop that required constant cleaning. With his new Ferris wheel, his poop will now roll around and eventually fall on his bedding, so no special cleaning is required. While the wheel isn't 100% silent, but it doesn't make enough noise to wake me up. At first it was, then I discovered that you could tighten (or loosen) the yellow cone shaped axle bolt by holding the wheel itself and that solved my noise problem. Clockwise n tighten, counterclockwise loosen (I would loosen first). I also sometimes spray some PAM on the pivot on the back of the wheel. I would like to add that Mr. Mouse loves to sleep in the wheel when the room gets warm. Please see the pictures I have uploaded of my rat. if you fear that your animal is too small for this exercise bike. UPDATE 9/18/11: My wheel started making a lot of noise, it turns out that the V-shaped jig that attaches the wheel to the cage has 2 kick wheels. (I have the blue ones) which prevent the wheel from bobbing up and down too much. Well, one of these wheels was taken off the axle during the cleaning to allow the wheel to bounce up and down freely. It was a simple fix: take the wheel out of the cage and slide the blue wheel back onto its axle. is silent again.
