I found these great sounding, very small speakers at my local thrift store for $15 for 4 surround speakers, a center channel and a subwoofer. All speakers are 4 ohms and my Denon system only needs 6-16 ohms otherwise it overheats so I connected 2 speakers in series which gave me 8 ohms and for the center channel I soldered a resistor in series , which solved the impedance problem and also balanced the system. the center did not oppress the sides. Now I had a problem how to put 2 loudspeakers next to each other, stacked on top of each other or on a stand - then I found this one and saw the mount and knew I could adjust that. And it turned out SUPER! I was able to mount my speakers side by side and the screws that came with it even fit perfectly. Now I need a really short version of this stand for my center channel (about 1ft tall) :) I CAN'T BE HAPPY! The stand is SOLID and the versatility of the mounting brackets is AMAZING and completely solved my problem. ) I CAN'T BE HAPPY!
