Quiet, easy to use, effective air purifier

Having owned and used several types of air purifiers, I was looking for something with the following characteristics: easy to use, effective use of a HEPA filter System, effective and silent. I wanted something we could rely on at home to keep the air free of wildfire particles spreading across the US and germs. This cleaner appeared to meet the criteria. Simplicity. If I want my parents to use it too, they prefer simple operation - that was the controls. Easily turn on/off and control timer, fan speed (and auto) and sleep mode. The front panel display with air quality indicator and associated color display makes it easy to see the current air quality. I also see it change when I cook at home, so I know it's working. HEPA filter. The cylindrical filter on it is half the size of the purifier itself! It has the typical filter layers for pre-filtration, carbon and hepa. The nominal hours are the same as other cleaners I have. I need to see how long it actually lasts and the average cost per filter change over the course of a year. Efficiency - When I first turned it on I was on the border of the red/blue zone. The fan has been running at a higher speed for a while and is now in the green zone - around 30 PM2.5. So far, so good. Quiet - The fan adjusts itself to the air quality - of course it makes some noise at the highest setting, but think of it as a sound machine. After entering the green zone, the noise recedes far into the background. Overall - I like the solid construction and feel of the machine. It's about the size of a standard airplane (see image) which is slightly larger (probably due to the size of the room) than some of my other purifiers, but not overly bulky. The design is standard, which is good as it doesn't make it stand out. I prefer to do its work in the background. The costs are in the range of similar cleaners for the same room size. My parents like it too which is a big plus for me as they can be picky. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who wants to breathe cleaner air.
