We play a lot of "family weight" games in our house due to having both a 6 and a 9 year old. My daughter loves anything with dice and my son likes strategy games so this looked like a good pickup.Essentially what you've got here is a Yahtzee styke game where you're attempting to score points based off the cards available and the dice you roll over several chucks. You'll want to keep the rule book out after initial setup, but gameplay runs pretty smoothly.Pros:Good component quality - giant wooden dice!Board is only 2 pieces (not like a Catan board)Cons:No little bags to store the components, had to use sandwich bagsInitial setup was a bit difficult when going through the rulebook, I recommend finding an overview video onlineOverall:Fun medium-to-lightweight family game that will suit people who have different game preferences. Really enjoyed our first playthrough and will be keeping this in the collection.
