Did the job for me to determine if a hired carpenter's finish was up to specification or not. It always looked a bit off to me. I was put off by some reviews claiming that the device they received was not true. When mine arrived I compared it to the level of my Stanley torpedo at a few points around the house to ensure accuracy. Listen! Then I checked the lining of my bookshelves. Right! Each of the two boards is not aligned exactly to the extent and in the direction that my eyes judge them. I almost hate what I can see that's off balance or off balance when others swear they can't! This level seems cheap but it arrived quickly and got the job done perfectly at a great price.
