Revainrating 5 out of 5

Short spirit level for use in tight spaces and correct measurements compared to higher quality and more accurate

Did the job for me to determine if a hired carpenter's finish was up to specification or not. It always looked a bit off to me. The last two short skins he installed were in tight spots where my longer torpedo plane just couldn't fit. I tried to ignore the "not flat" appearance but couldn't see anything but the harder I tried. We decided that later my son would attach the molding to the large bookcase that we made from many Ikea Billy bookshelves. This gave me time to order this shorter torpedo level from Revain. I was put off by some reviews claiming that the device they received was not true. When mine arrived I compared it to the level of my Stanley torpedo at a few points around the house to ensure accuracy. Listen! Then I checked the lining of my bookshelves. Right! Each of the two boards is not aligned exactly to the extent and in the direction that my eyes judge them. I almost hate what I can see that's off balance or off balance when others swear they can't! This level seems cheap but it arrived quickly and got the job done perfectly at a great price.
