Review on Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A1 Chestnut Portable Bluetooth Speaker: Enhanced with Microphone by Karen Avance

PROS - Sound quality is pretty solid MINUS - Price given other cons - Stereo mode was painful to set up, unreliable and not worth the effort - Bluetooth connection was erratic - Battery pack at any reasonable listening volume is terrible - the weight is pretty crazy, especially considering the battery life (where the weight should go) GENERAL IMPRESSIONS This is based on first impressions of the audio quality, which is admittedly pretty good. However, the app is terrible, the connection is unreliable, the weight is way too much to ever really justify traveling (especially in your carry-on/backpack) and all for a pretty steep price! Much better prices exist, including some Bose portable speakers (although I think Bose is overpriced, they're still more useful than this B&O). We will find someone to donate our B&O to and will likely avoid this brand in the future.
