Inkjet ink not recognized

I haven't bought any "Universal" ink before but based on the description and reviews I decided to try it. I installed them the last week of March, used the printer maybe 10 times and got this message today: Blinking! [Black] cartridge problem See the printer documentation for troubleshooting information. This is an HP J4580 All-in-One Printer. I think I'll stick with authentic products from now on.
