Some pros: I took it specifically for the Seagate FreeAgent Theater + HD media player (the firmware is not changed, the latest), so as not to drag the twisted pair cable through half the apartment. It works without problems both through the front and rear USB ports. Additional settings are not required. Drags shared DVD video over the network, HD video (1920x1088) drags, but there may be video and sound slowdowns. When connected to a computer, it showed the speed with a WI-FI router in N mode ~ 120 Mbps (up to the router 1.5 meters in a straight line). Cons: Unexpectedly low sensitivity of this device, through the wall diagonally from the WI-FI router (~ 7 meters) there is no signal reception at all, although the laptop in this place takes the signal more or less confidently. It will work in the line of sight (without obstacles) at short distances, i. E. in the same room with a router (although it makes no sense in this device, you can also forward a twisted pair cable in the same room). Gets hot. Didn't live up to my expectations, sorry.
