Buy Dometic factory seal

A toilet seal either works or it doesn't. When my Dometic toilet stopped holding water in the bowl I thought it was a great purchase. To be honest, I found the price of $27 for a Dometic replacement seal ridiculous. So I bought this "cheap" filling and installed it. It holds water no better than the old seal I removed. As a last resort, I bought and installed an "expensive" Dometic gasket, hoping it would work. The first thing I noticed was that the Dometic factory seal appeared to be stronger and a bit thicker. Conclusion: The Dometic seal has done its job. Now the toilet keeps the water in the bowl as it should.
