I really expected this hose and nozzles to work. But I ended up not using any tools or attachments at all. Now I'm trying to get my money back. If it doesn't work I'll give it away or throw it in the trash. When the product arrived there was a black sticky substance on the tube. I spent a minute scraping it off with my fingernail. I don't think it matters much. But the plastic melted on the crevice nozzle. I've tried scraping it off with my fingernail and it's not melted plastic from something else. The splitting tool was what actually melted. You'd think a company that makes and sells thousands of plastic nozzles has already figured out that plastic can melt in the hot sun and will take precautions to prevent it. I think it's ok. it's just a small defect. The instructions could be improved. He wanted me to connect a specific adapter to my vacuum hose and I couldn't use that specific adapter because it was too small. I had to skip this step and just use an adapter that connects to clear tubing. So it's good that it fits my vacuum cleaner, but only if you don't use one of the adapters that are recommended for you. The instructions should simply say that this adapter is not required and is optional. Now I'm running into problems. I bought this ladybug cleaning tool set between window panes. The suction power was too weak. You can adjust the knob to control the suction power, but you only have two choices: the holes are fully open or the holes are 65% open. One of the reviewers wrote that he sealed the holes with duct tape. I didn't want to go through all this. I used my fingers to close the holes but the suction was still too weak. Nothing sucked. In the end I just took the windows apart. Taking the windows apart was easier than I thought. Then I used the hose of my vacuum cleaner with a brush and it sucked everything up. I have not used this hose tool kit at all. Vacuuming ladybugs isn't exactly the same as vacuuming dust and dirt in vents and cracks in detailing, but I wouldn't even use this hose tool set for that. I would just use a brush and a regular hose from a vacuum cleaner. I am really disappointed with this product. When I was in elementary school, one of my teachers showed me how to make my own micro tube attachment by connecting a small tube to a large one. So in theory I would expect this industrial tool to work. But that didn't happen. The suction power wasn't enough to suck up ladybugs which are not heavy insects. And everything else, such as dust, can be removed with a conventional vacuum cleaner from a hose and brush. Just use a brush to sweep the dust out of the crevices so the hose can get to it. There's no need to hoard junk and supplies when all you need is a brush and a regular vacuum. I do not recommend this item. hope i get my money back
