I have a 2012 Chevy Traverse that doesn't have Bluetooth in its audio system. This little device is great for adding Bluetooth. Over the past few years I've used several Bluetooth adapters, each of which plugs into the car's cigarette lighter and broadcasts to the car's FM system. They have a few disadvantages: 1. They add a distracting hiss and hum to the sound. 2. When traveling long distances, you need to change FM frequency once you receive a station on your chosen frequency. 3. They are usually bulky and my cigarette lighter is right in front of the cup holder in my car. This means transmitters plugged into the cigarette lighter will block the cup holder. This device solves all these problems. My aux input on my car stereo is way up so the transmitter is out of my cup holder range. The sound quality is crystal clear, with no hiss, hum, etc. And since it doesn't work over an FM signal, you no longer have to search for a clean frequency. Simple, easy to use and works like a charm.
