-5 stars! Both plugs on this cable are of the wrong gender. The connector that should be connected to the Yamaha NMEA2000 port on the engine (white connector with blue and white wires) is a connector, just like the connector on the engine. You can use this if you also order Yamaha braids. However, the connector that connects to the NMEA2000 bus is ALSO the wrong gender connector. This connector should be the same as the male NMEA2000 drop cable, but it is a female connector! Interesting how the picture doesn't show the gender/polarity of the connectors.
