This salt shaker with marble lid, tong bowl and acacia wood container is really good. I washed the item with soap and water and let it dry completely before brushing it with coconut oil and adding salt flakes. With oil, the wood looked more refined and natural beauty shone through. I like that the marble top is a good weight and fits well. The larger and shinier crystals in marble look very much like salt, which is a nice effect. The top of the marble is polished to a satin finish and the bottom is matte. All in all, this is a wonderful set of salt shakers.
