Review on Super Bird Creations 2 Inch Paper by Opal Holmberg

I have purchased several copies of this toy over the years, both from Revain and local pet stores. This is a favorite in our house and my green baking kennel and sunny kennel are big fans. Depending on their mood, they either use it as a seat or as a target for their playful aggression. It takes quite a while for a bird this size, although I would expect Amazons or macaws to get through quickly. It took a while for my birds to decide they liked it, but I've found that once I get it. Starting with lightly peeling a stick or two, they get used to it very quickly. My only major caveat with this item is that it can get dirty very quickly if it gets wet (or if you put it next to a bowl of water that they splash into). My birds would bathe and then perch, only to leave colorful footprints on their brightly colored perches. It's not a big deal, but if you're not expecting it can be a little intimidating (especially if they're chasing red paint on the base as it can look a little gory). Another fun idea with this toy is to take a millet sprayer and strip a few inches off the center section and then weave that part of the stem through the lollipop sticks, effectively holding the millet sprayer in place. My birds love moving things to different places in their cage and this has been a favorite for them.
