Works great with Google TV Chromecast (e.g. 2020 model)

I finally found a powered USB-C to Ethernet adapter that works with Google TV Chromecast. I've been using Micro USB OTG hubs with USB Ethernet adapters on my old Chromecast devices and the USB-C to Micro USB adapters didn't seem to work. I tried Belkin's USB-C adapter, which claims to have the same specs as this one, but it doesn't work with the new Chromecast. He always said that the strength is not enough. This adapter is physically longer than the Belkin, but it really works! Google TV started up and said that Ethernet was connected via DHCP without doing anything. I know Google has an ethernet adapter specifically for the new Chromecast, but I don't really like how the ethernet port is on the power adapter. Makes plugging in behind the TV (and some power strips and UPS) a pain. Although for the price. If you can use the Google adapter, it's (currently) cheaper than this one. Hopefully it drops to $20 or less.

Pros
  • 60W Fast Charge: Type-C charging port of USB-C Gigabit AC adapter can provide 60W power for laptop. You can connect to the network at the same time without worrying about power outages. (Type-C charging port does not support data transfer)
Cons
  • poorly thought out
