Disappointingly cheap but with its own modification.
I bought these hangers to hang up my pants. They fail because the wood, while well made and beautiful, cannot be pressed tightly enough against the hems of my pants to hold them up, and often the pants end up on the bottom of my closet. Also, the hinge that holds everything together isn't a very strong polycarbonate. I made the solution by taking some velcro that I had, cut the strips and placed them between the hanger pads. Now my pants stay in the closet, but they really should have had something to make the pads stick more firmly to what they were supposed to hold.
