I wore these shoes for 15 days on a recent trip to Portugal and Spain and walked on a variety of surfaces from smooth tarmac and concrete to uneven old cobblestones. They've been consistently comfortable for the 50 or so miles I've covered. Although I wore them without socks for a short period of time, they were more comfortable for absorbing normal sweat. The socks also stayed in place with no stretch in the heel area. I also love their stylish look and they are easy to put on and take off for airport security etc. I wear a size 10 Narrow and they fit perfectly!
