I started with a toddler toilet they sold at Walmart but this was the next best thing. He seriously climbed the stairs alone and did his business to poop or urinate. We stopped using it after it was three years old as it was big enough to be number 1 and when we moved to another location with bigger booths for tall people we ended up using a step stool that allows him to get to the large human toilet and sit down. It was amazing to use it for two years when he needed it to be independent. It should be! I was advised to buy these by my caregiver and by the age of 1 year I no longer need diapers!
