I bought a vacuum sealer this year due to the pandemic. I finally used it and it came with bags. They wrote without mistakes (see 3rd and 4th photos). Since there were only a few sealant bags, I bought these bags after reading the reviews. So when it came time to use the new bags, I was excited. I have prepared everything, cut the bags to size, etc. Bag 1 is closed like in a dream - as it should be. But after that I had a problem with the air intake. He didn't pull as hard as he should have. So I removed the seal and started over. Then it was finally sealed. Then I thought maybe I had the wrong side of the bag down (one has a smooth side and the other has grooves [see pics 1 and 2]). So I was sure I would turn it the other side with the next bag but I had the same problem as bag 2. I started to get really frustrated when I had to stop the sealing machine as the air wasn't deflated became . I ended up vacuuming and sealing everything I needed, but it took longer than it should because I had to redo so many of them. does not work either. The sealing company's bags had grooves on BOTH sides of the bags, not just one. He has to hold on to something to get the air out and hold on. These bags only have grooves on one side. The bags themselves are heavy quality and don't seem to be a breakage issue. But I'm curious if they stay tight.
