These things are durable, very beautiful and overall excellent! As someone who has never used hair sticks before, it takes a little practice to figure out how to put them in your hair! But they're definitely solid, as evidenced by the fact that despite [more than] a few failed attempts to figure out how to get them in without cheating with the hair, and as a result, they got thrown on the floor because of my unruly hair, there are no scratches or missing rhinestones!
