Review on 13X5X10 Occasions Embossing in Black and White by Eugene Cox

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They weren't as good as I had hoped. Handles separate from pockets. YMMV.

These 12 large gift bags from BLK&WH are beautiful and roomy enough to hold a large number of items when needed. I was hoping that these bags would have a nicer and smoother texture than they actually are, which is a little hard to describe. They're shiny and smooth with a textured pattern on them (it just looks like they have texture on them - it's just a shiny smooth shiny pocket) - and you can see every tiny crease or crease on them, which was amazing . . The bags themselves are pretty solid, but the handles aren't even attached to the bags (they come with the kit, they come separately) - and while they're not difficult to install yourself, the fact that they're quite expensive for a Pack of only 12 sachets and they didn't even come with the handles attached which confuses me a little. (I'm too lazy and just want to grab a gift bag and quickly fill it with the gifts with no extra steps.) If you have to prepare all 12 for the gift, placing 24 pins (2 each) on the bags can be a chore if you have little time - just said. If you order them I would suggest installing the grips as soon as you receive them so they are ready to go when you want to use them. I wanted to love them but at this price point they didn't impress me at all. Also some of them were a little wrinkled - which isn't usually a big deal but as mentioned above they are really really shiny and EVERY fold and crease sticks out especially on these bags like a really sore thumb, kinda destructive and cheapens the look. YMMV.

Pros
  • Ideal for special gifts for birthdays, children's parties, weddings, Christmas, graduations, Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve, holidays and various parties. Ideal for packing coats, sweaters, books, crafts, figurines, clothing accessories, home decorations or other large items.
Cons
  • boring packaging
