White is transparent. Pockets not flattering.
I am 5’5”, 140-145 pounds, and I don’t know my current size due to being 6 weeks post partum.I got invited to join my family in Florida on pretty short notice and ordered this dress to give me something stylish to wear that would flatter my post baby bod. Unfortunately, I did not fully read the title and didn’t see that the dress has pockets. The pockets unfortunately accentuate my post-birth wide hips. This is not the dress’s fault or the fault of the seller, it’s mine. However I did want to provide a word of caution to big-hipped friends that this dress may not be the most flattering.The reason I knocked it down one star is because I ordered the white dress and the material is pretty transparent.
- The split gives a little extra movement to this dress, making it even more comfortable to wear
- The dress may not be suitable for women with wider shoulders
