I need to convert 43 cassettes. The device lasted 18 years. I bought a second one because the thought of going through the returns process, shipping, credits, etc. gives me a headache. It may be ambitious of me, maybe I'm expecting too much, but I hope to be able to digitize with the new 25 cassettes. were part of the original recording, reposition the device. Lay it on its side or lay it down etc. This is a device and not your original recording. You just have to find a position where it doesn't produce the mechanical noises that are recorded digitally. It's like a game because that particular position changes from band to band.
