I bought these because I have used plastic cutlery extensively in the past and I was starting to feel bad about my role in protecting the environment feel. I bought reusable cutlery, but in some cases disposable cutlery is still nice to have on hand. This is the best solution I've found. Biodegradable plastics exist, but they need to be composted and there isn't a suitable company nearby. So for now, this is the best potion. Sure, wooden spoons are a bit small, wooden knives are as sharp as you'd expect, and wooden forks really are more like spatulas, but they get the job done. They also add a woody flavor to whatever you use (like those wooden spoons you used to make ice cream with in elementary school), but then again, they get the job done and I feel less guilty about my part in the murder.
