This bed is very beautiful. I wanted to give my elderly dog a nice orthopedic bed but my architect husband found them too clumsy. When it arrived my dog didn't sit on it for the first day or so because it was very furry and I think she was scared. :) She's on it all the time now. This is a huge bed. Read the dimensions and make sure you measure where you are going to place it. I was originally going to go medium (hey, my dog is 70 pounds!) but it wouldn't fit in the corner my dog likes to curl up in. Small is a misnomer - the bed is 3ft long! I really wish there was a "tiny" version so I could get one for my 11 pound little fluffy ball.
