Purchased to insert a PVC pipe with electrical wires into my well. The PVC comes out of the ground and must have a PVC connection to the manhole cover. It wasn't there, so the insects could crawl through the pipe into the ground, through the plug of the well, and dive into the well like a swan. So I put a matching PVC connector on top of the ground pipe to seal everything, but before I did that I put this putty in the ground pipe to seal it so any bugs already there couldn't get through the connector along the cable and the swan dives into the well. Thus, the putty has become an excellent removable seal for the electric tube.
