The rear is ugly but works against the winter cold

I used it for a winter driving season. They really work. Mittens are put on the controller with the help of a rope tensioner. If I were to use it during the long cold season I would use zip ties although the strings work fine. It's reported to be waterproof, but they quickly donned a waterproof case just to be safe. They have a harder plastic shield along the windward front that is very effective at blocking cold and wind. On long trips I could easily do without the disposable hand warmer and use summer gloves. Now for the bad: the stiffer plastic windshield puts pressure on the levers, making them more awkward to operate (especially with heavy gloves). and issues a false traffic light warning. Also, as well as they work, they're terribly ugly on your bike. I mean ugly ass. The overall aesthetic of your bike is on this list. The only thing that detracts from their ugliness is their silly looks, their cold gear. But I would still buy them again. THEY WORK!
