I just needed a lightweight TV. I wasn't expecting much at this price and that's exactly what I got. Let's remove the main thing first. The sound is poor at best, much worse than the headphones that come free with cheap audio products. Bluetooth audio latency is the worst I've ever experienced. Details: The design is exactly what I was looking for; lightweight, attractive earphone. 5 stars for that. Blind Bluetooth pairing was quick and easy, as good or better than my much more expensive headsets. 5 stars for that. I haven't read the fine print. These headphones don't have a volume control, but surprisingly they have a completely useless equalizer function. My mobile phone and my TV have their own equalizer function. What I needed was a volume control because one of my TVs only has a fixed audio output for the Bluetooth transmitter, so I can't use them for that TV. 1 star for that. Sound Quality: Speech is clear but music is really low quality. (Think of an old portable AM radio with cheap headphones.) 1 star for that. Bluetooth lip sync latency is terrible, the worst I've ever experienced. Your TV's timing setting cannot compensate for such a large delay. 2 stars. The only reason I give them 2 stars is that all bluetooth headsets have some kind of latency. I didn't buy them because they were cheap. They were exactly what I had in mind. I'd happily pay more for a kit that looked good but actually sounded good. They may be suitable for children, but I don't think the vast majority of adults will tolerate poor sound quality. I really don't understand where the good reviews are coming from.
