If you're looking to boost your USB signal beyond standards, this is for you. I installed a long-term time-lapse platform and implemented the connection between camera and computer via USB over Ethernet. At first I used a passive adapter on both sides, and the connection was often lost, and the duration of the loss of communication between the camera and the computer was several hours. Ever since I installed the VTOP adapter, my system has been working great! Many Thanks. Highly recommended.
