I got my first Borner food slicer (tangerine) in the early 90's and over the last thirty years it has survived many moves and cycles in the dishwasher. Unfortunately the plastic of this old kitchen cutter has started to break and some attachments are missing a few teeth. So I decided it was time to replace the old Borner with a new one. You can't get enough of a replacement. All the features I loved about my first Borner kitchen slicer are present in this new one and if anything the design seems even better than it was in the 90's.
