I bought this dress for family photos and was very happy with it! The color is beautiful and the neckline is fun and unique. My 10 year old daughter is quite skinny (59 pounds and 53 inches) so I ordered a size 7/8. He was a perfect match for her! My 7 year old daughter also tried on the size. Size 8. The dress fit her too, but the sleeves were a bit longer on her arms and looked like we had to pull them up to make it clear that it wasn't meant to be a long sleeve dress that was too short. The material is then thin and smooth (slips off the hanger easily). It's not what I would call a rugged or play dress, but it's perfect for church, special occasions, or photography. And my girls both think it looks like a princess dress.
