Review on 🔦 Gentex GENK20A Auto Dimming Mirror with Compass Temperature: Enhanced Visibility and Navigation Aid by Joseph Morris

I really enjoyed installing this mirror! I installed it in less than 2 hours thanks to the well-written and descriptive guide. Very professional wiring and connections. Including wiring harness. I've provided some zip ties to keep the installation clean. They did a really great job with the whole mirror. All I had to do was find the spark plug wire on my 1993 GMC truck. Everything was high quality and well made. They made it so easy to install. I like it! The sensor probe comes with OEM style mounting hardware. I installed it exactly where they recommended, on the back of the grille facing forward for fresh air. This will no doubt give me accurate temperature readings. The mirror looks identical to the mirrors in newer vehicles. I bought an auto dimming mirror with compass and temperature. I don't have Homelink or Onstar, thank you. I didn't even waste time calibrating the compass. The mirror was calibrated the next day on the way to work. The lens has a larger field of vision than a 1993 stocker. I see clearly. Keep in mind that objects are a little closer than they appear. I'd rather have a wider field of view than a precise 1:1 distance to objects behind me. I tested the auto dimming feature with a flashlight and it works great. It darkens quickly and lightens up just as quickly. I have no reason to drive at night, but I'm sure it will be easier for my old eyeballs to see how dark it gets when a bright light is detected. Highly recommended!
