I'm not a runner (the years are catching up with me); I bought these CEP Run 2.0 compression stockings for everyday use. I find them to be quite effective at minimizing leg swelling, better than a popular brand medical grade compression stockings of the same compression ratio. Another brand is not bad; I don't scold them at all. I just find CEP stockings more effective. However, they are _much_ more expensive, so much so that I gave the product a one star rating. However, despite the price, I bought a second pair when my first pair started to noticeably wear out (after prolonged and sometimes quite heavy, rough use). The size chart on the CEP website is pretty cryptic. I'm a tall person (about 6ft 6in) and a size IV fits me. The stockings go to the bottom of my kneecaps and part of the foot provides compression but works well for my height of 13ft. as comfortable padding on the soles of the feet and in the area of the Achilles tendon. The CEP stockings that I have work well for me. I wish I didn't have to deal with swelling in my calves, ankles, and feet, but I wear stockings most of the day. If stockings are the most expensive medical equipment I have to buy, I will be in shape.
