Size goes up, fits

Bought for my kid to dress up Waldo for Halloween. I washed it cold, tumble dried on a delicate cycle, and the shirt shrank at least an inch. Both the sleeves and the bottom hem are wrinkled, which is annoying. Otherwise the fabric is good and suitable for Halloween and Christmas/Valentine's Day.
