I was skeptical, but not anymore. Before using them, when I went hiking with weights (30lbs in my pack) the ball of my foot felt uncomfortable at about mile 3 and by mile 6 the pain was significant. I picked them up, put them in the same shoes and walked 13 miles a few days ago with no complaints! Just make sure there are no creases when applying the patch and the job is great. Added: 2016-04-20 I want to add more positivity. Last weekend I was able to complete Tough Ruck. This is a full 26.2 marathon with at least a 30 pound backpack. There were no blisters on my legs and only slight pain on the balls that could be felt. I trust them. If you experience pain in the balls of your feet after a long walk, try hiking or running. Give them a chance!
