My husband developed an allergy to nickel and gradually developed a large red itchy patch just above the belt, although the belts had never bothered him. We tried treating him with everything, it looked like a fungal rash so we tried a few different antifungal/antiseptic creams, he was even prescribed oral antifungal pills which didn't seem to do anything for him. ! After about a year and a half he started working from home and stopped changing his sweatpants and wearing a belt every day and found that the rash disappeared when he was not wearing the belt and completely disappeared after about six months could heal! And on the days he wore the belt, the irritation returned! I gave him this belt as a "Congratulations on a new job where you're no longer working from home". He has been wearing this belt every day for about three months now and no sign of any reaction from the nickel and the leather is excellent quality this belt will last a long time. We are very happy about that and I hope that everyone who is allergic to nickel can understand that!
