Why are such thin cosmetic bags so popular now? Probably cheaper, but oh well. A SMALL structure is extremely useful if you place this piece on a bathroom counter and use it as a small closet for your belongings. This bag, loaded or not, is very long. Look at its dimensions. Packing it in hand luggage is a bit more difficult. It also looks just as cheap as it does in the photos. I'm happy to pay a little more for a more stylish or sophisticated bag. (I loved my Flight001 makeup bag from the West Village store in New York 15 years ago). The side compartments are ok, but not much. Especially in the smaller front pockets, it's so easy to get to frequently used items like hair clips, tweezers, nail clippers or lip balm that it's a hassle EVERY time. And it's black so you can see the damn thing in good light. Can anyone recommend a softer but more structured holdall that is much nicer?
