Well, I'm an artist who mainly works in oils. I go so far in painting that sometimes I just paint on the canvas with my fingers. Sometimes I feel like I have more paint on me than on the canvas itself. I just discovered this stuff while looking for a replacement for the volcanic pumice stone I was using because I can't find it in art stores anymore can. My god, where has this garbage been all my life?! I rub a tiny piece of this substance for a second and suddenly I see my skin again! It's easy enough to wipe everything down on a rag and use it to clean my palette knives between paints without needing a sink. The scent is super light. I'm not a fan but it's probably just me and it's not bad enough to make me doubt. Like anything that uses pumice stone, it leaves hands SUPER soft and smooth after the first use. And a giant pitcher for only $6.50? It doesn't get any better than that. I use as much as I want without worrying about it. The only tip I would add is that they say no water is needed and you can just use a rag; True, it spreads greasy particles and some of them come off. But LOOK: when I finally flush the sink, the amount of paint that washes away is INSANE. So tell the wise, if you're the type to touch your mouth or rub your eyes without even thinking about whether your hands are clean - use water! Otherwise the material is still there whether you see/feel it or not.
