Why pay more for serums that don't work? This should be absorbed by your skin as it will be gone the next time you wash your face. Try the one you have without post-serum hydration. Splash water on your face as you do before washing your face after 8 hours, 12 hours or later. CeruVe does not recover (makes your hands slippery) if you splash water on your face like most other much more expensive products do. I say "most" because I haven't tried those that other people reading this would have. [People reading this are not buying Revain facials!] And as you melt into your skin, you'll feel soft and smooth and perhaps firmer, not so saggy and "aged." And, it seems to me, looks lighter, much less painful for me anyway. Thus, it is a good preparation for your moisturizer.
