Review on LEGO International Station Birthday Building Set by Brian Healy

Pros: Given the complex structure of the space station, this is also a surprisingly solid Lego set. Also, this is an amazingly detailed model considering its size. It's a successful attempt to showcase the most important external components, including several scientific experimental stands and the Canadarm, using the smallest Lego bricks. I think it took a lot of time and effort to design the lego model of the station at this scale. My complaints: The spaceship model is wrong scale, it should be about 1/3 bigger. One could argue that the overall space station model is too small given the complexity of the space station. The astronaut figures used are oversized as they are identical to the figures used in the Saturn V set. I understand that there may have been some inherent limitations that make this model difficult to scale. The ISS continues to expand, as new solar panels have been installed this year and a new Russian laboratory has just been installed, this model may be outdated. . I recommend researching and buying lego pieces separately if you're really interested in keeping them updated! Otherwise, this model corresponds to the ISS 2016 configuration, which includes the inflatable BEAM module.
