I needed a simple bed curtain for a new duvet I bought in town. I wanted one that would hide the feathers but not hit the ground; I wanted to be able to run the vacuum right underneath. I had a dusty ruffle to tuck between the mattress and box spring and didn't want to go down that route again. I found this bed skirt to be easy to put on. You simply stretch it around the corners of the bed and arrange it however you like. The skirt has two elastics, it fits well but I knew it wouldn't stay in place unless I use upholstery pins. I tucked the top elastic under the mattress and then secured it with pins. I made sure to use extra pins in the corners. My box spring is blue and I can't see it through the fabric of my skirt. In a few days I'll see if the wrinkles are smoothed out, if not then I'll steam it. I am pleased with the lightness, looks and price of this item.
